There are luxury double occupancy- as well as family tents, furnished in local Makuleke style, and shaded by huge Ebony and Nyala Berry trees. In the main area, the lounge and dining areas have fantastic river views from where you can watch the animals and birds from the main deck as they are all around you, passing to and from the river. For birders there are hundreds of species including the rare Pel's Fishing Owl.

Activities in Wilderness Pafuri Camp are extremely varied and interesting - you can cool off in the swimming pools with views over the Luvuhu River, enjoy walking safaris, game drives in open vehicles, night drives, birding walks and mountain biking. A game-drive along the riverine fringe of rivers usually produces good general game in the form of nyala, impala, greater kudu, chacma baboon, waterbuck, and warthog, while careful searching might yield the more elusive residents of the area such as lion and leopard. Back in Wilderness Pafuri Camp, guests can shower, take sundowners and then enjoy the evening meal.
